Course Description

Statistical Inference and Hypothesis Testing in Data Science Applications is an intermediate level course offered by the University of Colorado Boulder. This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of statistical inference and hypothesis testing in the context of data science applications. Throughout this course, students will learn the fundamentals of general statistics and how to apply them in real-world scenarios. They will also gain a solid understanding of probability and statistics, and how to use these concepts to make informed decisions and draw conclusions from data. The course will cover various statistical tests and techniques commonly used in data science, including hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and regression analysis. Students will also learn how to effectively communicate their findings and insights through data visualization and storytelling. By the end of this course, students will have the skills and knowledge to confidently apply statistical inference and hypothesis testing in various data science applications. They will also have a strong foundation in general statistics and probability, making them well-equipped to tackle more advanced data science
