Overview

This course is CS50’s introduction to computer science for business professionals. It’s designed for managers, product leaders, founders, and decision-makers who want to understand the technical foundations behind modern products and systems.
Unlike the traditional CS50 course, which teaches computer science from the bottom up, this version takes a top-down approach. It focuses on high-level concepts, strategic thinking, and the kinds of technological decisions leaders make every day.

Through lectures on computational thinking, programming languages, internet technologies, web development, technology stacks, and cloud computing, the course gives you a working understanding of how these systems function. You’ll finish with clearer insight into the factors that matter when choosing tools, evaluating solutions, and guiding technical teams — even if you're not a technologist yourself.
